2025-03-01 Semantic Integrity Constraints: I am happy to share my first paper in grad school! This is joint work with Deepti and Uğur, along with undergraduate researchers—Justin, Nick, Michael, and Akshay. We present our vision towards declarative guardrails for AI-augmented data processing systems.

2025-01-09 NEDB Day: I gave a talk at NEDB Day about VectraFlow, an AI-augmented data-flow system we are building at Brown. The conference was a nice welcome into the database community!

2024-04-15 Brown CS PhD: I committed to Brown University for my PhD in computer science! Thank you to all my professors, friends, and family who supported me during this application process. I am so excited to start in the Fall as a member of the Brown Database Group, led by Uğur Çetintemel.

2024-04-04 NSF GRFP: I received a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship! I am extremely grateful to NSF for this opportunity and look forward to the next five years of research ahead.

2023-09-21 ECML PKDD: Maryam and I presented ROhAN at the ECML PKDD 2023 Plenary Session for the Best Journal Track Papers in Turin, Italy.

2023-04-06 DMKD/DAMI: ROhAN was accepted for publication in Data Mining and Knowledge Discovery (S.I. for ECML PKDD 2023)! The work is based on my honors thesis, and I collaborated with Maryam and Matteo to submit the extended version. We introduce a new class of null models for statistically-sound KDD.

2022-08-29 Microsoft: I am excited to start my first job out of college as a software engineer at Microsoft in Redmond, WA!

2022-05-13 Amherst CS Prize: I was awarded the Amherst College Computer Science Prize for my honors thesis and overall achievement in computer science.

2022-02-27 AAAI: Stefan and I presented a parallel algorithm for balanced sampling at the AAAI 2022 Student Abstract and Poster Program. The work started with Shukry’s honors thesis, and Stefan, Matteo, and I brought it to completion.
